Can you believe it. I bet you all gave up on me thinking my mission was abandoned….. Well i’m sorry to disappoint you. Every day at the beach.

I have to thanks that fact that I work and live near the beach so to duck down and enjoy a moment of peace is easy. 

Where have I been? Well busy….. a mixture of a exhibition, work and organisation of out fabulous holiday. Which we embark on tomorrow in fact. Unfortunately blogging hasn’t been high on my priory lists of things to do.  

I’ve walked beaches, i’ve seen pods of dolphins, I’ve seen people tanning in the freezing cold sand, i’ve seen bloody noses, cut toes (mine), cut fingers (mine too), Black Hawks, I’ve read 6 books (can you believe Mum and Melissa) feed seagulls (yep im that person) tormented seagulls, sailed the high seas of um…. Pittwater on a 44ft Yacht.  

I am super excited to experience a different countries (wait not only country but continent) Here we come Santa Monica.

Day 26.

Thursday what a beautiful day. and What a beautiful day to have off. :-) I treated myself to a walk up the head land of Mona Vale in hope to see some whales. But I was unlucky. Dam Whales keep hiding from me

I was lucky tho to have taken a walk after the sun had some time to warm up the sand. And enjoyed a beautiful day day at the beach.I’m looking forward to the warmer months. Can you believe I said that?

Day 25.

This was a improvement on Yesterdays weather. I could be picky and stated that it was very windy thus not allowing me to eat lunch at the beach, unless of course I wanted sand included in the mixture.  

So saving up my lunch break time I dashed to the beach and walked along the sand in the afternoon. Although I wasn’t brave enough to place my feet in the water!!!!

Maybe tomorrow?

Day 24.

Tuesday

I wish the beach looked like the picture below… but it did not. Why does it have to be raining on these 52 days I have chosen… WHY…I’m surprised if anyone felt like being out side today…

Okay Okay I’m getting slack with the postings. But never fear I’m still at the beach everyday. Taking photos ect.

Day 20 Friday: It’s always hard to go back to work after a day off. So when lunch time came around I was more then happy to head of to my bench with my lunch. Thinking and planning the for the events later that night I didn’t quite absorb the beach, but hey!

Day 21 Saturday: Unfortunately I had shopping on my mind after work on Saturday so the beach was one of my “fleeting” Visits.   

Day 22 Sunday: Now promising myself after the passed few days that I would actually spend quality time at the beach. So off we went down to the beach. And what a AMAZING DAY. low tide beautiful Sun. I had so much fun climbing over all the rocks. Although I did have a bunch of 5 years olds staring looking at me strangely most likly thinking what is see on? 

Day 23 Monday: I realised that most days when I head to the get i’m just bringing my iPhone with me. Doubling as a camera and my book (eBooks with the Boards APP… much enjoyment). Most days im grabbing my lunch and heading down to sit on my Fav bench for lunch…. So far so good no one has stolen it on my breaks.

So untill tonight when i post again I promise for more regular updates. Ive had enough of being Slack!

 

Day 19:

A beautiful night at the beach, after day relaxing. Rugged up we walked down from our flat tripod and camera in hand. We had fun star watching and rushing back up the hill to watch “How I Meet Your Mother” So as I sit here typing away. It’s taking me forever as I am too distracted by laughing. So untill tomorrow!

Day 17-18:

Day 17: What a miserable rain wet cold horrible yucky disgusting day…….You would all be proud to hear that I ran down in my high-heels cursing the day that I had decided to ever visit the beach. Wait no your not happy to hear that. Your Happy to hear that I actually went to the beach. I might have had to get changed and re-done my make up. But Hey i went.

Day 18:

What a change from the day before. And what a welcome change. Beautiful sunny and bright and what a day to experience the beach. I was Lucky to have a visitor bearing a yummy sushi lunch. Sitting in the park at the beach munching on the sushi enjoy the sea breeze My hate for the beach was slowly dissolving. I no longer wanted to curse at the beach.

Day 16: 

 What a crazy weather day. I find everyone is a little “different” (like the non-use of abnormal thank you Steiner education) when the weather is crazy. Not to mention it’s Monday. Whilst taking a break from my normal day job as the trainer I played receptionist/secretary/technician*a hopeless one* in our service centre. Whilst having the BEST street view and thankfully tinted Windows, I got to do alot of people spying and viewing and Giggling at how many people tripped over the same place on the pavement, that is slightly higher then the rest. Mind you I shouldn’t giggle because I do it every morning and a stream of profanities usually slip out (slips who am I kidding screams out) of my mouth. Sorry Mum but it’s a side effect working in a male dominated industry. 

This really doesn’t have anything to do with my visit to the beach today but hey makes for a great intro….. Well at least I think so. Finally I jumped on my scooter at 5:30 to head home. As soon as I hit the main road I saw these MASSIVE  grey clouds…. Great (Mum dont read the next part) I sped as fast as I could to the beach (on a Scooter that means I hit 65k in a 60 zone WOOOT for me) I parked my scoot and ran to the beach took a few snaps and put my feet in the sand. I igored all the weird looks I got due to the fact I had left my helmet on. <on a side note here i wonder what I would think If i saw a girl in heels, shortish dress  with a helmet one running down the beach hmmm> 

Once I had got my shots surprise surprise It started to …….rain….. I sped home (Hell Yeh 50k going up the hill thats got to be a record scooter heheh) I raced home. I’ve spent all night cooking for the week to finally sit down and watch some TV and eat my dinner. And what happens… I flick on “Criminal Minds” and they get to the part where the psycho blood-thirtsy killer is on the loose and my power cuts out…… Great just great!!!! So as i sit here writing my blog in the dark (thank you iPhone internet tethering) that really isn’t about the beach. I think to myself a very profound thought…. How am I going to make my nightly hot chocolate with out power??? HOW?

Hello.

I have not abandon my 52 days of the beach. But Yes the last four days I havn’t had any time to actually blog everything I have been doing. I decided to use the “internet blogging time” to go to the beach ohhh aren’t I good? Yeh okay Lickarse I know…. but actually true.

In the passed 4 days I attempted to watch Whales, walk the full length of a beach, enjoy some sunshine and maybe just maybe dip my feet in the water.

Dipping my feet in the water… Yes AND highly regretted it.  I think I almost got hypothermia how do you surfers do it….ur fecking crazy….

So im summery 3 out of the 4 days I was in the city and I still managed to get squeezy in some decent visit to the beach. Yes Yes im boasting but.

I didnt forget I swear!!! Although I do have to admit I am being lazy by mixing Day 10-11 together. No it is not Lazy It is multi tasking! Thats what it is. Being so busy over the last few days. Also I have to admit. I do not like the beach in the rain. I believe it is cold and miserable and thats what the last few days have been. Cold and miserable!!!!!
